Dorks in Disguise is a cosplay duo made up of a photographer/seamster (Fen) and a makeup artist/model (Spades) who work together to bring fiction into reality. They have been cosplaying since 2006 and 2008 respectively, each bringing over a decade of experience to the table. Spades is an international cosplayer, having lived in Greece from birth to 2017, and so brings a new perspective to the cosplay scene in the United States
The name is as lighthearted and fun as the duo themselves. They love to work with other artists; cosplay specifically began as a community, and both think it should remain that way. The two Dorks also love traveling and meeting all sorts of people to learn from and share experiences with. They participate in many video projects and panels as well as creating their own in their spare time. Notable accomplishments include being official guests for Lumi-Con in Florida and successfully making one gingerbread house on video.
